TV star announces pregnancy with stepbrother’s baby

Former Neighbours star Scarlet Vas has announced she is expecting a baby with her stepbrother.

The star was a familiar face on the Australian soap for one year between 2017 and 2018, playing Mishti Sharma, the police officer sister of Dipi Rebecchi (Sharon Johal).

Mishti’s exit story saw her pursue an arranged arrange and move to Sydney for a new life after falling victim to a cruel sex tape scheme.

Since her departure, Scarlet has turned her back on the acting world and has now pursued a career in OnlyFans content creation.

To boost her income, she revealed that she’d enlisted her stepbrother Tayo Ricci, who she married in Mykonos last year.

During the ceremony, he performed a strip-style dance for his wife, before pinning her down on the floor as guests watched on.

Speaking on the Uncensored Podcast with Mario Adrion last year, she shared that after setting up an OnlyFans account, she ‘wasn’t earning a lot’ to begin with.

She said: ‘I mean the fans love us as like a thing or not a thing. He’s my stepbrother and Australian and we’ve known each other for a very long time.’

As the hosts asked whether Tayo helps with her content, he said: ‘I would say partially yeah. Definitely on hers.’

Scarlet added: ‘Yeah he always makes appearances on mine.’

The unusual partnership means some viewers might expect some step-sibling themed content, but Tayo insisted that wasn’t the case.

The couple met as teenagers in Melbourne, with their parents later beginning a relationship together.

Recently the pair shared the news that they were due their first child, sharing a heartwarming video where Scarlet found out her pregnancy test was positive.

We later see the pair attend an ultrasound screening, before a sweet moment where Tayo kisses Scarlet’s bump.

She captioned the footage ‘Baby Ricci, Our Christmas Miracle’ on Instagram.

Scarlet told news.com.au that backlash over their relationship doesn’t affect them.
