Neighbours has reversed its huge scheduling change just days after it was announced, following a backlash from fans.
The soap’s Australian broadcaster Channel 10 confirmed last week that it would only air episodes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the rest of 2024, with its usual Thursday edition being temporarily dropped.
However, Amazon Freevee, which streams episodes for UK and US viewers, planned to continue airing four episodes a week, meaning that Australian viewers would have fallen behind for the rest of the year by the end of this week.

It’s now been confirmed by TV Tonight that Network 10 has reversed this decision and will now
air Neighbours‘ Thursday episode this week as originally scheduled, with the soap continuing with its usual four-episode schedule for the rest of 2024.
This will mean that Australian fans will continue to watch at the same pace as UK and US viewers.
Network 10 reportedly told TV Tonight that it had made the decision in response to audience feedback, with many fans having shared their disappointment that different countries would be watching at different paces.
