Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours is set to reveal the outcome of Max Ramsay’s big cliffhanger, which took place in the 2024 finale episode.
The finale saw Max, Byron Stone and Sadie Rodwell caught in an attempted hit and run, with Sebastian Metcalfe presumed to be the target.
The trio were outside Grease Monkeys when a car sped towards Sebastian and Sadie. Max heroically tried to save Sadie but they were both knocked over alongside Sebastian.

In scenes that will air on January 6, viewers will see the aftermath of the attack. Byron and Sadie are grateful for Max’s quick thinking as he pushed her out of harm’s way.
Despite asking him to leave previously, they invite Max to return to the share house and he happily accepts.
Privately, Max worries that he may have been the real target of the attack, due to the trouble he was in before he moved to Erinsborough. While still in hospital for observation, he sneaks out to see the injured driver, however he doesn’t recognise him.
Elsewhere, Krista Sinclair is devastated to hear her friend has been injured in the car attack. She receives confirmation that the driver was found with Sebastian’s photograph on his phone.
She also discovers that Sebastian had returned the money she’d given him to pay off the loan sharks. Krista is filled with guilt after forcing him to choose between their friendship or the money.
Later, Krista visits Sebastian and makes an emotional apology. She feels upset that she didn’t take the danger he was in seriously. Leo Tanaka also apologises, feeling responsible for revealing Sebastian’s whereabouts to his enemies.
