Neighbours are lining up another week of high drama as Yaz Shields (Chrishell Stause) heads back to the outback – and sets a deadly trap for Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall).

The Amazon Prime Video soap will also see the breakdown of Yaz’s relationship with Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson) when she bails on their plans yet again.

Little does she realise, Nic begins to piece together clues from her vicious plot to bring Holly down.

Paul Robinson’s (Stefan Dennis) reconciliation with ex-wife Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is also on the rocks, when her step-daughter Nell Rebecchi (Ayisha Salem-Towner) makes a grand return to Ramsay Street.

Nell isn’t best pleased to see that they’ve reunited, and threatens to drive a huge wedge between them.

There is some good romance news next week, as Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) plants a kiss on Rhett Norman (Liam Maguire) at Leo Tanaka and Krista Sinclair’s (Tim Kano and Majella Davis) engagement do.

But could Seb Metcalfe’s (Rarmian Newton) meddling bring the celebrations to a halt?

As we edge closer to the big 40th anniversary in March, Neighbours is ramping up the action… and luckily for you, Metro has all the deets!

Here’s a roundup of everything happening in Erinsborough.

Monday, January 13

Panicking after hearing Heath’s voice ringing out through her house, Holly calls Yaz for comfort and is soothed with some reassuring words – and alcohol.

Yaz is hopeful that the drink will bring out a confession relating to her brother Heath’s death, and secretly records the conversation on her phone. Holly slips up and says that she wanted Heath to die.

The following day, Nicolette is charmed by Yaz’s romantic acts and hints at a future together, blissfully unaware that she’s only in a good mood because she might finally get her revenge.

Unfortunately for her, the police dismiss her recording as inadmissable and refuse to reopen the case, warning her against targeting Holly.

Poor Holly is still wanting to make a good impression, and manages to secure an Australian singer to perform at the Lights Up festival. We know that this is likely to be G Flip – Chrishell’s real life partner, who was announced to be joining the show for a guest stint last week.

Yaz couldn’t be less interested by the arrival, and instead announces that she’s jetting off on a last minute business trip. What she doesn’t tell Holly is that she’s actually going to scour the outback for clues.

Elsewhere, Byron (Xavier Molyneux) is thrilled when Paul intervenes over Sadie’s (Emerald Chan) new piercing and says that she can’t wear it as it violates the Lassiters uniform policy.

She tells Andrew (Lloyd Will) that she plans to defy his decision, and maybe even look at getting another piece of face jewellery.

When Byron is hesitant to get on board with her plan, Sadie realises that he’s not convinced by her new look and he’s forced to accept her choice – later helping her in the plight against Paul.

He has other matters to be considering though, as the redevelopment of Power Road is still on his mind. Terese struggles to voice her objections against it, concerned that her reconciliation with Paul could be over.

She goes behind his back and tries to cool Mayor Helen Brown’s (Emma Choy) interest in the project, and he later learns of her betrayal.

Is there relationship over?

Tuesday, January 14

Jane (Annie Jones) has to play mediator between Paul and Terese when they can’t see eye to eye.

Will they be able to start afresh, or his history repeating?

Nicolette realises that she’s left her favourite earrings in Yaz’s hotel room and can’t wait until she’s back in town to find out.

Aaron gives her his spare key which he has been using to drop off equipment for the light show, and when they make a visit, a seed is planted in Nic’s mind.

She’s edging closer to discovering Yaz’s secret…

Elsewhere, Leo is on edge with Seb’s presence in his flat but tries to remain calm for Krista’s sake.

Beginning to feel like a third wheel, he’s in disbelief when Krista asks Nic if Seb could get a job at Harold’s Cafe.

How much longer is he planning on staying in Erinsborough, and will this prevent his happy future?

Wednesday, January 15

Paul decides to arrange a small gathering for Leo and Krista’s engagement, purposely scheduling it for when Seb is at work.

Leo calls out his dad on the exclusion, but Paul remains adamant that it is for the best and he knows how unaccepting he is.

The party starts well, but Seb soon reaches out for help with a dish he’s preparing for Krista and she leaves the bash to be with him as a way to make up for not being able to celebrate together.

During their meet up, she accidentally slams the fridge door onto his injured shoulder and she’s forced to stick around longer to help with the cafe’s busy period.

With the guests leaving their engagement-do, Leo tries to be understanding but is still hurt that she missed their special event to be with Seb.

Down on Ramsay Street, Terese tells Paul that she’s concerned about Nell’s reaction to their reunion – but he doesn’t see what the issue is.

Nell puts on a brave face when the news is broken, but it’s clear that she has some reservations about them being back together.

The new family of three attend the party, and when Nell notices a moment of affection between the happy couple, she’s overcome with emotion and rushes out.

Still grieving the loss of her old environs and her dad’s presence in Terese’s life, she admits her true feelings and is worried that Paul isn’t a reformed person.
