The emotional turmoil is clearly taking its toll on her, and the temptation to hit the bottle is growing stronger. When she receives a bottle of wine as a gift from Eirini Rising, she edges further to her troubles.
When Terese discovers that Susan has accidentally let slip to Paul that she may not be entirely opposed to reuniting, she anxiously takes the wine home and takes a drink.
At No. 26, Andrew’s (Lloyd Will) suspension leaves Wendy (Candice Leask) seriously concerned and she’s adamant that they can’t take any longer to sort things out. Sadly, he admits that as time has gone on, he knows that the thought of her and Quinn (Louis Lé) together is hard to shake – it’s tarnished their marriage.
Wendy insists that they should go to marriage counselling, but worn down by the conflict, Andrew agrees.
Over the road at No. 30, JJ stumbles across a letter that Cara wrote to herself on her 40th birthday – it’s her dream to have another baby. He hands the note to Remi (Naomi Rukavina), who approaches her wife about the idea.
Cara insists that it was just a dream, and that she doesn’t expect it to become a reality. Whilst Remi tries to remain open to the prospect, it’s clear that she’s hesitant.
Elsewhere, Felix (James Beaufort) is saddened to see that Holly has thrown his self-help book away and plans to sneakily get it back to her. She’s resistant to his advice, and suddenly Susan startles her – Holly swings around and hurts her step-mum.

As superfans will know, this story has been devised to facilitate the real life changes to the property that happened during the fourteen month production break in 2021-22.
Elsewhere, Paul probes Leo (Tim Kano) about Terese’s renewed attraction towards him, whilst also reassuring his son that he’s heeding Susan’s advice and keeping his distance.
Susan checks in her on her pal, who assures her that all is well. However, when Terese spots Gino (Shane McNamara) handling a delivery of wine and a potted cactus, she offers to take care of the former whilst he takes the plant to Paul on her behalf with a moving note attached.
Later, Susan and Karl are met by an irate Moira (Robyn Arthur) who is furious that her bottle of wine has been stolen. Unfortunately, Terese has succumbed to temptation. Krista interrupts her before she can drink it, but it’s clear that she is about to rapidly decline…
Down at the complex, the preparations for Boylesque are going well, and Paul offers Krista his congratulations for her initiative to install a piano bar in the hotel foyer.
However, her golden glow is cut short when Moira and Hilary (Anne Scott-Pendlebury) launch a campaign to put a stop to the event. Gino and Leo reassure Krista that they don’t stand a chance of bring it down – though Paul would rather not alienate the elder members of their community.

Jane is heartbroken to be selling Mike’s motorbike, knowing that it is the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. However, she has seemed to soften towards Vic and urges Nic not too hold her grudge too hard.
She and Byron are shocked to hear that their dad is looking for a business near Melbourne, meaning he has left the door open for them to repair their relationship.
Down at Erinsborough Hospital, Melanie is attending an appointment and spots him volunteering. He asks her to keep the information to himself, which pains her when she notices his children aren’t seen his changed character.

News reaches Jane that the person who bought Mike’s pride and joy has resisted it for a significant amount more than they paid her for it. When she learns that the mystery buyer is Vic – she’s furious – and vows to never trust a word that comes out of his mouth ever again.
It seems he had an ulterior motive, and had actually purchased it to ease the burden of what he knew would be a difficult task for her.
He then tells Mel that he feels partly responsible for the couple’s break up, prompting her to open up to Jane about the truth. Jane listens, and agrees that his odd move actually helped her to move on.
Next door at No. 26, Sadie (Emerald Chan) is overjoyed to hear her parents are starting marriage counselling and hoped it will get them back on track. Wendy embraces the change to open up, and admits her identity insecurities and says her connection with Quinn was purely to embrace her culture.
However, Andrew is less open with the counsellor and admits that the knowledge that his wife has a relationship – albeit platonic – with another man is too much to handle.
Later, he tells Aaron (Matt Wilson) that he doesn’t think he can trust Wendy anymore. Aaron advises him to solve his marriage problems as if he was solving a crime at work.
