Neighbours has officially announced that the character Teresa ‘Tess’ Bell is making a return for 2025.

Actor Krista Vendy is reprising her role, with the soap’s official Instagram account sharing a photo of her on set holding a Ramsay Street sign.

“Another blast from the past!” the caption reads. “Krista Vendy is soon set to reprise her role as Tess Bell… but what’s brought her back to Erinsborough this time?”

Tess initially appeared between 1999 and 2001, during which time the schoolteacher ended her marriage to evil Brendan, before embarking on an affair with Darcy. She made a brief return in 2023 as part of the school protest storyline.

“If only you knew WHY Tess is back!” script producer Shane Isheev teased on social media, adding a smirking face emoji.
