Big Brother 2024 has entered its final week, with one lucky housemate being crowned the winner – and walking away with a casual £100,000 – this Friday. After being evicted alongside Khaled on 8th November 2024, Lily has now taken to social media to share an emotional post with fans.
The 20-year-old Chinese Takeaway Server from Warrington was the youngest person in the house this year, forming friendships with the likes of Ali and Daze, and butting heads with Tom and Emma. And while her ‘eeeeeks’ undoubtedly made their mark on the 2024 BB house, Lily was eventually evicted by viewers, leaving the show on Friday, before the experiment’s final week.
Now, the housemate has taken to Instagram to share an emotional post about her time in the house, and to thank fans and followers for their support.
She wrote:
“EEEEEEEKKKKKK. I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible experience on Big Brother. The support from everyone has meant the world to me, and I truly appreciate all the love and encouragement. I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a housemate. During my time in the house, I made sure to stay true to myself no matter what. It was really important to me to express my thoughts and feelings honestly, even when things got tough.
“I found that being authentic helped me build real connections with others, and it made the experience so much more meaningful. Staying true to myself not only kept me grounded but also reminded me that it’s okay to be who I am, and that’s something I’ll carry with me forever. To be the most nominated and saved till week 5 is a winner in my eyes 💋 THANK YOU”
Lily also took to her Instagram Stories to share her support for 38-year-old Ali, a forensic psychologist, who is still in the house, writing, “ALI TO WIN.”
