Next week on Neighbours, there’s a Ramsay family revival as Shane returns alongside his son Max.
Elsewhere, Remi and Cara search for a donor as they hope to extend their family, and Melanie faces a big decision over Victor.

1. Susan, Karl and Harold fight to save Eirini Rising
Eirini Rising remains in trouble despite Terese’s resignation. Susan and Karl discover that a group of disgruntled residents, led by Moira, are planning a lawsuit with complaints of exaggerated and imagined ailments following the gas leak scandal.
The Kennedys know that Moira strongly values Harold’s friendship, so they get him on board to talk some sense into her. Moira is eventually forced to acknowledge that her legal threats came from her sense of loneliness rather than a genuine grievance.
2. Shane Ramsay returns with his son Max
Shane’s son Max arrives in Erinsborough and immediately makes an enemy when he accidentally knocks Holly into the Lassiters pond. Holly confronts Max over his careless behaviour – and the row threatens to escalate when Byron gets involved to defend her.
Holly is shocked when she eventually finds out that Max is the son of Shane, who’s also in town for a visit. Shane confirms that he has split from Holly’s mum Izzy, but he’s cagey about the reason for the break-up and his motives for bringing Max to Erinsborough.
3. Max moves into the share house
Vera oversteps the mark once again by taking control of the search for a new share house resident. She invites Max to move in, without consulting the rest of the group.
Byron and Holly are annoyed by Vera’s decision and their anger grows further when they find out that Max has landed himself a job at Lassiters, seemingly without merit. Max tries to make amends with the pair after their rocky start, but Byron and Holly remain reluctant.
4. Sadie makes a big decision about her future
Max causes further problems by flirting with Sadie, unaware that she’s Byron’s girlfriend. Wanting Max to move out, Byron comes up with a plan by suggesting that Sadie could take the newcomer’s place and become a permanent resident at Number 32.
Sadie is offended that Byron is suggesting such a big change for their relationship purely to spite Max. She agrees to move in, but wants Byron to prove that it’s truly about them by letting Max stay on too.
Later, how will Andrew react when Sadie confirms that she’s not moving back home?
5. Max starts a new job
Max is granted a trial as Executive Assistant at Lassiters. While Karl is impressed by his work ethic, Krista isn’t sure that he’s suitable for the job.
Shane laments his split from Izzy and heads out for a boys’ night with Karl and Paul. After learning that Max only took the hotel job to please his dad, Krista interrupts the night out and tries to convince Shane that it isn’t the best move for his son.
6. Aaron is asked to have a baby with Remi and Cara
Aaron speaks to Cara about her and Remi’s plans to extend their family. He admits that he’s slightly jealous, as he, David and Nicolette had considered the possibility of having another baby together.
Cara suggests to Remi that they should consider asking Aaron to be their donor. Remi fears that it’d be too complicated, as they’d have to consider Nicolette’s feelings and what JJ and Dex would think too.
In the end, Remi agrees that they can at least sound Aaron out, so the couple unite to pitch the idea. Aaron admits that he’s flattered, but explains that he can’t get involved as he carries the gene for Huntington’s disease.
Despite the setback, Cara and Remi make progress as they finally agree that using a known donor feels like the right choice.
7. Cara’s life hangs in the balance
Cara faces a busier work schedule and starts to cut corners, skipping some safety precautions while up a ladder to fix some faulty guttering at Lassiters.
This has disastrous consequences when Holly doesn’t secure a porter’s trolley properly and it rams into the ladder, causing Cara to fall on top of some jagged guttering.
Cara is rushed to hospital, where Remi is on shift. Remi is devastated to see her wife in such a state and realises that she’s bleeding out.
8. Melanie starts avoiding Victor
Melanie is left troubled following a dramatic intervention from Nicolette, who has warned her to steer clear of Victor because he’s a major womaniser.
Unaware that Nicolette is stirring the pot to eliminate her as Jane’s love rival, Melanie suddenly starts avoiding Victor. When Vic questions this, Melanie downplays their connection by insisting that it was a brief flirtation and nothing more.
9. Krista forces Nicolette to tell the truth
Krista figures out that Nicolette is manipulating Melanie and orders her to set the record straight. Just as Jane and Victor seem to be bonding again, Nicolette is forced to tell her mum that it only came about because she lied to Melanie about Victor.
The revelation leaves Jane with a dilemma, as she can either push Victor and Melanie back together, or stay quiet to protect her own happiness.
10. Victor makes a final plea to Melanie
Jane decides to do the right thing by warning Victor about Nicolette’s recent meddling. The news hits Victor hard as he laments over his missed opportunity with Melanie.
Victor’s heartbroken reaction hits home for Jane, who finally removes herself from the love triangle by vowing to step out of the running.
Melanie looks forward to her big trip away from Erinsborough, but she’s stopped in her tracks when Victor pays her a visit and asks for another chance.
11. Melanie makes her decision
Victor rebukes Nicolette for interfering in his love life. She offers to set the record straight by speaking to Melanie, but Victor soon decides that his relationship with Mel wasn’t meant to be.
Melanie also feels sad over how things have turned out, but she remains adamant that she’s doing the right thing by leaving Erinsborough and not having any further involvement with Victor.
