14 huge Coronation Street spoilers for next week
Next week on Coronation Street, Sean and Dylan’s ordeal seems far from over as blackmailing Brody makes a sly demand for cash.
Elsewhere, Theo’s secrecy causes problems for everyone, Abi struggles to get along with Carl, and Dee-Dee pursues her complaint against the hospital.

1. Brody demands cash from Sean
Brody sneaks a look at Dylan’s list of contacts and boldly calls up Sean, demanding £500 in return for his son’s safety in the Secure Training Centre.
Left in despair, Sean asks Glenda if she can give him £500 as a loan. Glenda is baffled and senses that Sean may be in serious trouble.
2. Sean is linked to a nasty crime
George and Eileen are shocked when they discover that Julie’s collection jar at Underworld is now empty. Friends, neighbours and former colleagues had all been fundraising to send Julie on the holiday of her dreams.
George notes that Sean had asked Glenda for £500, making him a top suspect for the mysterious theft. As Sean promises Brody that he has the cash, has he really resorted to stealing from a dying woman?
3. Sean begs Daniel for help
Sean finally decides to tell Daniel about Brody’s previous demands for a burner phone and how he went along with it to help Dylan.
He asks if Daniel could now retrieve the phone, which could contain the evidence proving that Brody has been up to no good.
4. Todd’s fling gets even messier
Theo and Danielle return to the undertakers to discuss the funeral plans for Danielle’s mum. This time, the couple bring their teenage son and daughter with them, which comes as another shock to Todd.
Theo fears he could be losing Todd, so he tries to explain his mixed messages. Will Todd be prepared to listen?
5. Theo’s secrecy causes chaos
Sarah heads out for a date with Kit at the Bistro, but it goes wrong when Danielle sees her there with Todd. As Danielle wrongly thinks that Sarah and Todd are a couple, she invites them to join her and Theo.
Todd winds up Theo by kissing Sarah, who’s mortified when she realises that Kit has witnessed this moment from the bar. She tries to explain the confusing situation, but Kit remains uncomfortable.
6. Abi and Carl clash at The Rovers
Abi isn’t happy over Kevin’s younger brother Carl coming to stay – mostly because of the flirtatious atmosphere between them when they first met as strangers in the Freshco car park.
Keen to spend time with Kevin away from Carl’s glare, Abi asks the Weatherfield newcomer to make himself scarce for a while. Carl ignores this request by taking Kevin to The Rovers after his latest chemo session.
Abi unleashes her anger on Carl at the pub, accusing him of sabotaging her planned afternoon with Kevin. As Kevin starts to ask awkward questions about why Abi and Carl can’t get along, will the truth over their first meeting come to light?
7. Carl deals with some bad news
Later in the week, Carl admits that his business in Germany is about to go bankrupt after a difficult time. This means that he might have to fly back for a while to deal with the situation.
Kevin is disappointed when he hears the news, wishing that he could help his struggling sibling in some way. Can the Websters sort something out?
8. Debbie makes a promise
Debbie is booked in for an MRI scan following the news that she may be showing the early signs of dementia.
Although Debbie is still reluctant to confide in her family, she gathers them all at the hotel with a defiant announcement. She tells them that life is for living and she intends to make the most of hers – but will anyone realise there’s a deeper meaning behind her words?
9. Dee-Dee stands her ground over the hospital complaint
At the hospital, Dee-Dee is curious to spot Asha chatting to midwife Zoe. Zoe is one of the hospital staff who’s implicated in Dee-Dee’s official complaint over her traumatic labour experience.
Zoe apologises to Dee-Dee for what she went through, but adamantly denies any wrongdoing. Asha also asks Dee-Dee to withdraw her complaint to avoid ruining Zoe’s career, but Dee-Dee refuses to back down and reminds Asha that she was a victim of racism.
Later, Dee-Dee crosses paths with newcomer Wes and they chat. Dee-Dee is unaware that Wes is Zoe’s brother – does he have an ulterior motive?
10. Dee-Dee receives some bad news
Dee-Dee is disappointed when the hospital’s investigation finds that no wrongdoing took place. She heads to a support group, where she meets other mums who’ve been through traumatic birth experiences.
Dee-Dee raises awareness at The Rovers by telling her friends that Black women are four times more likely to die during childbirth. She refuses to let what happened be forgotten and vows to hold Zoe accountable herself if the hospital won’t.
11. Daisy and Christina solidify their plans
Jenny warns Daisy about Carla’s plans to sell the pub, but leaves out the crucial detail that she’s planning to buy it herself. The truth comes out when Christina overhears Carla telling Jenny that she’s better off purchasing the business without troublemaking Daisy involved.
Once they get a moment to compare notes, Christina and Daisy discreetly promise to go ahead with their grand plan to take Jenny down.
12. Tyrone receives more news from Alina
Tyrone gives Cassie his blessing to spend some time with Dorin, so she heads off to the park with him.
Later, after another desperate call from Alina, Tyrone informs Dorin that he’ll have to stay for longer than planned.
13. Chesney plans to leave for a while
Chesney is offered a job by Dev, which will see him working at a festival in London.
Gemma is thrilled when Lou offers to help with the kids so Chesney can concentrate on the new project.
Later, Gemma gets a chance to return the favour when Lou applies for a job at Audrey’s salon. Lou makes out that she’s an accomplished stylist and Gemma backs her up.
14. Lou has an explosive start at the salon
Gemma witnesses fireworks at the salon, as Lou and Maria struggle to get along. When the row gets out of hand, Lou spitefully chucks hair dye all over Maria.
Maria responds by firing Lou, but is overruled when Audrey decides to give her a second chance for bringing in so many clients.
Meanwhile, Lou takes the opportunity to confide in Gemma about how she has a son and she’s very worried about him…
