Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ who Rob kills next – and it’s someone close to home
Coronation Street’s Rob Donovan, played by Marc Baylis, could be on the brink of committing another murder, according to soap fans.
Rob recently made a surprising return to the cobbles after an eight-year absence. Viewers will remember that he is currently serving time for the 2014 murder of Tina McIntyre, portrayed by Michelle Keegan.
However, when his sister Carla Connor, played by Alison King, needed a kidney transplant, his son Bobby, played by Jack Carroll, decided to intervene.
Bobby visited Rob last week to reveal the situation and despite initial resistance, Rob eventually agreed to consider it. In the episode aired on January 13, Bobby returned to the prison to convince Rob to get tested as a potential donor.

The plot took a dramatic twist when fellow inmate Matty, played by Seamus McGoff, brandished a knife and took prison guard Mandy hostage. Fans will recall that Matty is in prison for stabbing and killing his own brother Mason, played by Luca Toolan, reports Lancs Live.
Matty threatened to kill Mandy and when Rob intervened, Matty redirected his threats towards Bobby, holding him at knifepoint. Both Mandy and Rob tried to defuse the situation and as tensions rose, Rob managed to pin Matty against the wall until prison staff could intervene.

Overwhelmed by his father’s actions, Bobby later told Carla that Rob has changed, much to her dismay. In a surprising turn of events on Coronation Street, it has been unveiled that the recent captivating hostage situation was orchestrated by the cunning Rob.
Fans are now harbouring fears over whether Rob, who has previously killed on the cobbles, will commit another murder. Over on a dedicated fan page of Coronation Street on Facebook, one worried viewer posted: “What is Rob up to? Really thought he had changed.” Another speculated: “I can see him killing again tbh. Maybe Bobby as revenge for disowning him? ” While a third shared their thoughts, saying: “Yeah Bobby, I can’t see him killing Carla.”
