Monday, December 2
Toadie breaks the news to Nell about her grandfather Big Kev’s terminal cancer, and offers her the option of staying in Erinsborough. Having learnt about Terese’s alcoholism relapse, he rules out the option of staying with her.
Nell makes matters worse when she reveals that she made a pact with her former step-mum – to keep one another’s secrets – and Toadie is furious.

He remains adamant that Terese needs to focus on herself, but she finds it hard to tackle the fact that Nell would rather live with her. In a last attempt at winning him over, Nell corners her dad and points out that she moved to Colac for him, and he should repay the favour by letting her do what she wants for once.
A remorseful Toadie goes back to Terese and rethinks his decision. JJ (Riley Bryant) is delighted that his girlfriend will be moving back to Ramsay Street, just days before her 16th birthday.
Amid the delight, Paul (Stefan Dennis) reassures Terese that he’ll always be beside her side.

Elsewhere, Cara (Sara West) continues her recovery in hospital whilst Dex (Marley Williams) is furious with Holly for being part of his mother’s accident. He asks Cara why she isn’t more angry, and she admits that she blames herself for the accident and isn’t holding onto animosity.
Seeing Holly living a care-free life, Dex tears strips off her – something which is noticed by newcomer Yaz.
Karl (Alan Fletcher) escorts Holly to work and feels guilty that he’ll soon be travelling to Italy with Mike amongst her drama. She puts on a brave face, but asks Paul if she can reposition herself at Lassiters into something less public-facing.
Meanwhile, Yaz continues to interrogate the locals, tracking down Blaze from the Crimesborough Podcast and asking her about what happened in the outback under the guise that she’s a big fan.

Holly spots them both together, and Yaz sits back as the chaos unfolds.
What is her game?
After standing her ground, Yaz commends Holly on her bravery and it boosts her up to say farewell to Karl as he departs on his trip, masking her struggle.
Later, she delivers Yaz’s room service, and is invited in. Blissfully unaware that she’s Heath’s sister, she details her emotion – unaware that she’s been drawn further into a huge web of mystery.

Yaz charms Holly with her support, and later offers her a position working as her assistant on the Lights Up event – but she doesn’t want to let Krista (Majella Davis) or Paul down by leaving Lassiters.
It seems that Yaz has caught another Erinsborough resident’s eye, as Nicolette (Hannah Monson) crushes on her from afar and admits to Aaron (Matt Wilson) that she’s intimidated by her glam looks.
After building up the confidence, the two women click and a new romance seems to be on the horizon…
Elsewhere, Krista asks Holly to swap to a night shift, citing that some of the staff are refusing to work with her. The admission is too much to bare, and she quits on the spot and accepts the job as Yaz’s assistant.
Nicolette runs into her crush again, and decides she should ask her for a drink. However, when she receives the cold shoulder, she assumes she isn’t interested. Little does she know, Yaz has received a bag of Heath’s belongings and has suffered a resurgence of grief.

With the word spreading about the lights festival, Gino (Shane McNamara) hold a residents meeting with Moira (Robyn Arthur) at The Waterhole, where he checks in with Terese about her feelings towards Toadie.
She admits that she finds being around her ex to be triggering, and when the meeting turns sour, she dashes out – upset that she’s no longer a part of that community.
Toadie clocks her upset, and during their conversation, Terese comes up with a perfect theme for the lights show based on Big Kev’s condition – ‘Lost Loves’.
Realising that the residents would turn down the idea if they knew it came from her, she asks Toad to pitch it to them and she’s thrilled when the idea gets over the line.

It seems that the healing process has finally begun for these two.
Down at the share house, Byron (Xavier Molyneux) is frustrated when Sadie(Emerald Chan) points out how much Trevor the dog loves Max. Nicolette realises its actually Sadie and Max’s friendship that is really upsetting her brother.
Leo (Tim Kano) is on cloud nine following Seb’s (Rarmian Newton) departure, and begins to plan a perfect proposal. However, when Trevor finds a bag by the lake belonging to Seb and Krista begins to worry, he starts to feel like something bad may have happened to him as a result of his actions.
Putting his plans to tie the knot on the back burner, he decides that now might be the time to come clean.
Wednesday, December 4
Max and Sadie get closer, with Byron struggling to hold his tongue any longer. Nicolette suggests working through his jealousy, and he swallows his pride.
He can’t stop himself from telling Sadie about Max’s blatant flirting, but she plays it off and says she only sees it as friendly banter. Later, she opens up to Max about the way her boyfriend is feeling, and is left stunned when he confidently admits that Byron is right.

He admits that he wants to explore the spark between them… what will Sadie do?
Krista takes Seb’s bag to the police station and searches for more clues on her best pal’s disappearance. However, when Leo admits that he’s the one who was responsible for him leaving town, she’s less than impressed – especially when hearing that loan sharks are targeting him.
When the police catch up with Seb, Krista is stunned to learn that he doesn’t want anything to do with her anymore.
She makes it her mission to speak to him herself, and is given information from Byron that he spotted Seb speaking to a woman with a distinctive tattoo.
Elsewhere, Nic is mortified at Yaz turning down her offer of a date, and whilst she hopes they’ll never meet again, their paths soon cross.

Having learnt that she lives on the same street as Holly, Yaz is more enthused this time and decides to use the opportunity to get to learn more about her target.
Full of nerves and oblivious to the cruel plan, Nicolette embarks on a date and is plied with drinks in a bid to keep her talking.
She soon lets slip some hot gossip about Holly, leaving Yaz both shocked and satisfied. Her scheming continues…
Thursday, December 5
Following Max’s very open declaration, Sadie gathers herself and asserts that she only loves Byron and that he’s crossed a line. He prepares himself to be in Byron’s bad books, but when he learns that Sadie hasn’t informed him, begins to suspect she might not have been telling the whole truth.

Sadie shuts him down, insisting that the only reason she didn’t tell Byron was because she didn’t want to cause further dismay amongst the housemates.
Elsewhere, Krista embarks on her search for Seb with Byron – leaving Leo completely out of it. They discover the name of the drug dealer that he’d spoken to, Jordan Masciulli, though she’s adamant she knows nothing of his whereabouts.
Feeling that she’s reached a dead-end, Krista is shocked when Seb reaches out and assures her that he’s alive and well – but needs $35,000 to stay that way.

She’s prepared to pay up straight away, but Leo advises her to take caution. He knows that Krista is furious with him, but she needs to assess the situation better.
Unfortunately, she follows her first instinct and transfers the cash.
Down on Ramsay Street, the residents are gathering for Nell’s sweet sixteenth and she’s never been happier. She’s living back at home with Terese, and JJ is just across the road.

For once, Toadie and Terese seem to be getting along.
After spending a day reflecting on her mum, Nell is in a spirit of gratitude and declares she’d like to follow in her footsteps by taking a more active role in the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation.
Toad is made up with the request, but when he speaks to the foundation manager, he’s dismayed to learn that the council haven’t renewed the lease on their office in the community centre and if a new location isn’t found as soon as possible, it will have to close its doors.
