Eric, who is best known for his role as Victor Braeden on the hit CBS soap, took to his social media account to write: “Congratulations to those of you who wanted this outcome of the election!”
He then added, “We all voted! So be it! I DO NOT LIKE IT, BECAUSE I DO NOT THINK THIS MAN IS FIT TO BE PRESIDENT, BUT I SHALL ACCEPT THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION! LET US ALL TRY TO BE KIND TO EACH OTHER!”
However, one one fan wrote to the actor, “I will be kind to others. However as a woman in this country right now, I feel unseen and disrespected. It’s hard to turn the other cheek at this present moment,” Braeden responded with, “I am as speechless as you are! Misogyny sadly lives on!!”
Other fans and critics alike commented with, “Voice of reason as always, thank you Mr. Braedon and yes, it’s what we can do.”
