Neighbours confirms dramatic return plot for Nell Rebecchi

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours has confirmed the official details of Nell Rebecchi’s return storyline.

The teenager bowed out from Erinsborough last month alongside her father Toadie and younger brother Hugo, but she’ll reappear for a visit next week.

Keeping her promise to maintain a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend JJ Varga-Murphy, Nell surprises him by jumping on a bus and coming to see him.

JJ is delighted to be reunited with Nell and skips school so they can spend time together. Unfortunately, this plan goes wrong when JJ’s biological father Felix Rodwell spots them up to no good.

Despite promising to stay away from JJ, Felix confronts him and threatens to tell his mums Cara and Remi that he’s skipping school.

JJ brands Felix’s stance hypocritical after his own history of poor choices, but Felix insists that he doesn’t want his son to make the same mistakes.

Father and son ultimately find an uneasy truce, but could this be the start of them bonding again?

Meanwhile, Nell’s stepmum Terese Willis starts to suffer the consequences of her decision to start drinking again.

Terese feels the effects of withdrawal any time she stops consuming alcohol – and her friends soon notice that she seems unwell.

Seeking an escape, Terese hides out in her house for the day but is taken by surprise when Nell uses her spare key to let herself in.

Nell catches Terese with booze – but will she keep her secret or raise the alarm over her alcohol relapse?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, October 17.
